Join Us For a Live Mandolin Workshop!

Please join us for John Reischman’s mandolin workshop on how to use double-stops in your accompaniment and soloing. This live workshop will happen on Zoom on Saturday, December 12 from 11 AM - 12 PM Pacific / 2 - 3 PM Eastern.

Double-stops are two notes played together, and they are a great way to make melodies sound more full and interesting. In this workshop, we will look at a variety of voicing for playing double-stops, everything from melodies with open drones to chord-tone double-stops to harmonized scales. Stylistically, the focus will be centered on bluegrass, but other styles may also be included.

We are suggesting a $25 donation for attendees and will have a donation jar available at the event, but we want you to be able to attend regardless of your financial circumstances, so please feel free to donate what you're able to.

Please fill out the registration form, and we will follow up the day before the workshop with a link for the meeting. Looking forward to seeing you at the workshop!
